Actress Jasmine Guy Files For Divorce

Former"A Different World" sitcom star has filed for divorce from her husband of nearly 10 years, Terrence Duckett, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split. According to COURT DOCUMENTS filed Thursday, Guy, 46, is asking for spousal support and primary physical and legal custody of their 9-year-old daughter, Imani Guy Duckett. Guy also included a list of assets that she wants confirmed as her separate property, including several bank accounts, her production companies, the copyright of a book she penned and a myriad of household and personal items, such as furniture, jewelry (including her wedding ring), paintings and a leased Lexus SUV. The estranged couple, whose separation date is noted as April 8, tied the knot Aug. 22, 1998. In a statement released Monday, Guy's publicist, Paul Gendrau, requested that inquiring minds respect the actress' privacy.
"Jasmine would like to say that there is no villain in this scenario and that she is ending her marriage due to irreconcilable differences," he said. "Jasmine would also like to thank everyone who wishes her and her family well, and asks that the press and the public allow her and her husband their privacy to work through what is a very difficult time."

Rumor has it that Divorce may be looming for actress LisaRaye and her husband, Turks and Caicos Islands Premiere Dr. Michael Misick, in the wake of rape allegations leveled against him.
In April, Misick was accused of sexually assaulting a U.S. citizen, reportedly a friend of Lisa's, on a visit to the couples home .
Although Misick, initially denied the allegations in a televised statement, word has it that Misick later admitted that there was sexual contact but claims that it was consensual.
Rumors of cheating,infidelity, and swinging have followed the couple’s two-year marriage, but have never been confirmed. LisaRaye told Caribbean News : "I understand the interest my fellow Turks and Caicos Islanders have in this matter. But I hope they will understand that I have no comment to make at this time."
Are You Kidding Me? Lisa Raye is Not about to give u her title of "FirstLady" He's been linked with Nicole Murphy, and She with gary Peyton and a few others. One can assume that they have an understanding but if he's found guilty of the charges and does time for rape, I guess that might just throw a monkey wrench n her plans.

Actress Jasmine Guy has filed for divorce, Los Angeles court documents show.

The former A Different World star cites irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split from her husband Terrence Duckett. The couple, who are both 46, were married for nearly 10 years.

Guy is seeking physical and legal custody of their 9-year-old daughter, Imani, with visitation for Duckett.

She is also requesting that the court deny any spousal support to Duckett, but is asking it from him. 

Guy is most noted for her role as Whitley Gilbert on A Different World.
