Sarah Palin’s 17-year-old daughter, Bristol Palin is unmarried and currently five months pregnant. Palin has stated that Bristol will give birth in December and marry the child’s father who is rumored to be a McCain aid. . The Palin's have released this statement: "“Our beautiful daughter Bristol came to us with news that as parents we knew would make her grow up faster than we had ever planned. We’re proud of Bristol’s decision to have her baby and even prouder to become grandparents.” “Bristol and the young man she will marry are going to realize very quickly the difficulties of raising a child, which is why they will have the love and support of our entire family.”
Personally, I feel it has no bearing on her ability to do the job. Now had she gotten an abortion when her mom is staunchly opposed to abortion, even in the case of rape and incest, it would be a whole 'nother story. I wonder if it had been one of Baracks daughter who had gtten pregnant at 17 what would happen? You know the press would be all over it saying how unfit he would be to be the president. Oh well, that's politics for ya!
