Harlem Globetrotter Chris "Flash" Richardson Dead AT 28

Chris Richardson, a member of the Harlem Globetrotters, has died in his sleep while on tour in Japan.

Although the cause of death is not yet confirmed, Richardson likely died of natural causes, according to a Globetrotters spokesman.

The players were on their 83rd consecutive season and stopped at a US military base in Sasebo, Japan.

The spokesman said the organization was still in shock over Richardson's death.

The 2.01m Richardson played at University of Nevada Las Vegas and joined the Globetrotters shortly after his college career ended.

Richardson was known for his dunking skills.

"He was a great Globetrotter on and off the court. He just had a very engaging smile that would light up the room," the spokesman said.

Flint bred rapper MC Breed was reportedly found dead at a friend's home in Ypsilanti, Michigan yesterday

As reported earlier, Breed (born Eric Breed) had suffered from kidney failure in September and was on life support on for two days before slightly recovering.

Breed's manager, Darryl Morris, confirmed the rapper's death to The Detroit News Saturday but did not reveal further details. Breed was 36 years old.

Breed garnered fame in the early 90's via his hit single “Ain't No Future In Yo' Frontin”. He released over 13 albums and had a major influence on Detroit artists including Eminem affiliate Trick Trick .

"I salute him for everything he did," Trick Trick said. "It was good to see him break out of Flint. It gave a lot of us hope, like, 'We can do this, too.'

Spragga Benz' Son Carlton, Gunned Down At 17

Spragga Benz is now mourning the loss of his 17 year-old son Carlton Grant who was gunned down by police over the weekend.

According to police reports at about midnight, members of a police squad were patrolling Down Town Kingston when they pounced upon two men riding a bicycle along Church Street.

The men were signaled to stop which they did. The officers then approached the men when one of the men pulled a handgun and fired several shots at the officers. The lawmen then returned fire hitting Grant who ran but was later found suffering from gunshot wounds. Grant was rushed to Kingston Public Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Police say a semi-Automatic pistol was found on Grant.

ANdre Young Jr., the son of legendary producer Dr. Dre was found dead in his home on Saturday morning According to the Los Angeles County Coroner. 
The son of legendary rap producer Dr Dre has been found dead at his home in Woodland Hills on Saturday morning.

Andre Young Jr., 20, was unresponsive when his mother went to check on him around 10 A.M., calling 911 to alert paramedics.

Young’s cause of death is pending completion of a toxicology report.

LeRoi Moore, saxophonist and founding member of Dave Matthews Band, died unexpectedly Tuesday afternoon, August 19, 2008, at Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center in Los Angeles from sudden complications stemming from his June ATV accident on his farm near Charlottesville, Virginia. Moore had recently returned to his Los Angeles home to begin an intensive physical rehabilitation program. He was 46. Rest in Peace.

Soul music legend Isaac Hayes has died today at age 65.


Isaac Hayes, who won Grammy awards and an Oscar for the theme from the 1971 action film “Shaft,” has died, sheriff’s officials in Memphis, Tennessee, said Sunday.

Relatives found Hayes unconscious in his home next to a still-running treadmill. Paramedics attempted to revive him and took him to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Comedian Bernie Mac, Dead at 50

Comedian Bernie Mac died at Northwestern Memorial hospital early Saturday morning, according to Sun-Times Columnist, Stella Foster. He was 50.

Though the cause of death has not been confirmed, Mac had been hospitalized recently for pneumonia.

 Foster said that she received calls early Saturday morning from a close friend of the Mac family, confirming the reports of Mac's death.

On Friday, a spokeswoman for the actor, whose real name is, Bernard McCullough, said that he had been responding well to treatment for the illness.

Publicist Danica Smith said Thursday in a statement that Mac's condition is ''stable.'' Smith first announced on August 1st that Mac was hospitalized in Chicago.

Smith said Mac's pneumonia wasn't related to an inflammatory lung disease Mac also had. That condition was in remission since 2005.

Bernie Mac’s wife, Rhonda, and daughter who were present when he took his last breath stated that Bernie suffered complications from pneumonia.

“He struggled for his life. He couldn’t breathe. He opened his eyes on his own and looked at Rhonda. She called his name, and he opened his eyes and nodded to her. She smiled at him and told him, ‘Don’t leave me … ‘I’m waiting for you to come back.’ He shrugged his shoulders, and she said that’s when she knew he was tired. He signaled to her that his body was tired.”, his sister-in-law, Mary Ann Grossett, revealed.

Bernie Mac has been married to his wife Rhonda since 1977 and has one daughter Je'Neice. Doctors were working on him,” says Grossett. “They tried to resuscitate him two times. One time he came back for about an hour. Then he went into cardiac arrest the second time.”

New Orleans Rapper's FEMA TRAILER SHOT 28 TIMES. 

Authorities in New Orleans say they have no motive or suspects in the shooting death of an ex-rapper named Sporty T.

 But it seems whoever shot Terence Vine really wanted him
dead. Police say the rapper's FEMA trailer in New Orleans had at least 28 bullet holes.

 He was pronounced dead at the scene.

 Sporty T was part of a rap group called the Ninja Crew and signed as a solo artist with Big Boy Records, recording more than a dozen albums with them before launching his own label, Sporty Records. 

Vine was 41.

Former San Diego charger Safety, Terrence Kiel, Dies In Car Crash

Former Charger safety Terrence Kiel was killed late Friday after he was thrown from a Chevy sedan he was driving. He was 27 years old.

A witness saw Terrence Kiel driving the wrong way down a road before his 2004 Chevy sedan rolled near an intersection in Scripps Ranch, a part of San Diego.

Terrence Kiel was ejected from his car, and was barely breathing when paramedics reached him and he died about an hour later.

Friends had tried to keep Terrence Kiel from driving home from the party. It is not known whether Kiel had been under the influence of drugs or alcohol until toxicology tests were performed.

A second-round pick from Texas A&M in the 2003 NFL draft, Kiel has been out of the league since the Chargers released him after a guilty plea to a felony drug charge in February 2007
