The Roots Survive Tour Bus Crash
The legendary Hip-Hop group The Roots survived a near fatal double-decker tour bust crash
while driving though Paris, France on Wednesday night.
Roots drummer ?uestlove detailed the crash stating "In reality, the crash was all of about 7 seconds," he said. "But to do a 360 on the highway and end up ramped up (the van that crashed into ours was under our double decker bus) in the air... is....well... a frigging miracle." ?uestlove added, "My first thought was not move a fucking inch. I always had fear that we would fall off a cliff while in high mountain traveling like Denver or Switzerland. I couldn't tell where gravity began and ended."
"Dog we are so alive right now. And yes we went through all that sh*t people go through when they go through accidents. Dazed. Amazed. Grateful," he continued.
Is Morgan Freeman Creeping? Spotted, "Driving Miss Daisy" During Crash
Why was Morgan Freeman Driving Miss Daisy? The "Unidentified passenger" with Morgan Freeman during his accident was Demaris Meyer. We now know that Freeman was lucid and “joking” with his rescuers at the scene of the accident. From what we can gather, 48-year-old Meyer is from Memphis, works as an executive assistant at Fed-Ex and is an avid gardener. One source stated that Meyer is a very close friend of Morgan's wife Myrna and is often seen at their house for get-togethers. Freeman, 71, has been married to his wife Myrna Colley-Lee since 1984. Freeman was driving Meyer's 1997 Nissan Maxima in rural Mississippi when he lost control and the car flipped the car over 3 times. They had to use the "jaws of life" to cut him out of the Vehicle and air lift him to the hospital. Meyer was treated for her injuries and released. Morgan freeman has suffered a broken arm, and an injured elbow and is scheduled to have surgery. He will make a full recovery and is looking at 3 -4 mo. of downtime What I want to know is wha was he "driving Miss Daisy"? I would hope that at 71 years of age and 24 years of marriage that Morgan freeman isn't creeping with Miss Daisy. Wifey's friend, Often seen at get togethers at the house, seen in the boonie's driving the car with the friend riding shotgun. Hmmm. Makes you wonder doesn't it?
