The award recognizes his work in entertainment and under served communities with the Magic Johnson Foundation Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, Regina King, Russell Simmons, Paul Sorvino, Craig Moon, and Zina Bethune were among some of the presenters. A award-winning R&B singer, Chante Moore performed at the event held at the Beverly Hills Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif.
