I guess her appearance with Beyonce' on this year's Grammys brought back her love for the road because Singing legend TINA TURNER is coming out of retirement for a new tour. That's Right,eight years after quitting life on the road, the 68-year-old revealed she will kick off a new series of dates in Kansas City, Missouri on 1 October 2008.The announcement came during a special taping of Oprah Winfrey's talk show in Las Vegas on Saturday (26Apr08). Turner revealed that it was actress pal Sophia Loren who convinced her to perform again, telling her she should stop "lolling about her Swiss home and get back to work.
( yeah we all know that she had to come out of retiement to show Big 'Retha, who's really the queen after Aretha got her panities in a bunch over Beyonce's semi Fauxpaux of introducing Tina Turner as the "Queen of Soul", a title that was bestowed upon and claimed by Aretha Franklin."
The Oprah Winfrey show, which features a duet with Cher, will air on May 8th.
