Comedian Mo'Nique had a few words for Gossip Blogger Fred M of Media TakeOut for falsely reporting that she had Gastric Bypass surgery to lose weight. Mo'Nique took him to task and said that we have enough problems in our community without adding to it with negativity. She Challenged Fred to post about good things. She also stated that if he does post something, he needs to stand behind it and not back track. She told Fred to be expecting a call from her assistant as to where she wants to go next with this. Hmmm...do I smell a lawsuit brewing?

Queen of Hip Hop Soul, Mary J Blige Sued for 2 Million
The Queen of Hip-Hop Soul,Mary J. Blige, has been hit with whopping $2 Million fine over the 'illegal' placement of a track from her most recent LP 'Growing Pains'.Mary J. Blige is facing a $2 million federal suit claiming music on her most recent No. 1 album, “Growing Pains,” was stolen.
Producer Theron Feemster wrote the music for the song “Work That,” but the tune is owned by Dream Family Entertainment Inc., according to a lawsuit filed Tuesday in Manhattan Federal Court.
The court filing claims the New York-based firm never gave Blige, Feemster or Geffen Records, the distributor, rights to use the song. “Mr. Feemster created the music while he was under contract with Dream Family.
Dream Family then owned the music, yet the music was used without permission in a Mary J. Blige release recording,” said Dream lawyer Brian Caplan. “It was released as an album, a single and in a commercial,” Caplan said.
Rights to the lyrics of the song - which was featured with Blige in an iPod commercial - are not in question. Caplan said it was unclear if Blige knew the music belonged to someone other than Feemster, and said the producer “had no rights to the music he used.”
Miami Heat's Dwyane Wade faces Lawsuit
Dwyane Wade is facing a lawsuit for breach of contract from former partners Mark Rodberg and Richard von Houtman. Rodberg and von Houtman helped Wade open two restaurants last year and were planning a third. But both D. Wade's Sports Grills shut down in the last couple of months and the plaintiffs are saying it's because Wade didn't fulfill his end of the deal by making the required marketing and promotional appearances on behalf the restaurants.
Wade, however, is saying that he did meet his obligations and that Rodberg and von Houtman , who are seeking $15,000 and attorney's fees, need to slow their roll and let the restaurants marinate for a minute before expanding. "If anything, Dwyane has a concern that the value of his name has been tarnished by ceasing operation of the restaurants," Steven Peretz, Wade's attorney, stated. "This is an instance where D. Wade called a timeout on the expectation of the restaurants. The pilot restaurants have not shown any record for success."
