Keith Sweat has refused to allow his two sons with Southern socialite Lisa Wu Hartwell from appearing on the Bravo reality series The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Hartwell says that Ex Hubby Keith Sweat (dubbed, the beggar of R& B music) has refused to sign a waiver that would allow her sons with Keith, 13-year-old Jordan and 10-year-old Justin to be filmed. “He’s like, ‘Lisa, it’s nothing personal,” Hartwell explains. “I just really don’t know how they’re going to edit and if they’re going to make you look crazy. I just don’t want the kids to be, you know, overexposed or anything.’” Lisa said “They asked their dad could they be involved, and he said no. It could have been a Disney show and I don’t think he would have signed it.” Lisa and Keith have been divorced for years and she is very candid when speaking about her abusive relationship with Keith. Lisa who has since remarried and has a 1 year old son, EJ, with her current hubby NFl player Ed Hartwell.

Way to go Keith. No matter what people think of you, parents are to protect the kids. That show is mad crazy and glorifies materialism. Anyone with values would keep their children far from it.

keith I think that you are doing that for all the wrong reasons. I heard you were sappose to have a show. I bet the kids would be on your show. The bad thing about this is on the show you dont know that she has other kids other than hearing about them on kday when she was on. It looks like she only has one kid and if those boys see the show its going to look like she cares more about her 1 year old than the other two. Stop being controlling and get over yourself. Besides on the show she is one of the only ones that dosnt come off to be so materialistic like the others. Your bad.

This show does not portray a good image amongst successful African-American Women or Men. So, therefore as a true father Keith is doing what is best for his young men and father of the future (Justin & Jordon).

To above comment. I have to disagree with you saying the show does not portray good image. Deshawn- Very positive, willing and wanting to help out at risk girls in the community. Unfortunately for the other women on show, ghetto and being messy sells. We are insider's looking in and we will not know the real reason Keith would not sign the consent form. Be it out of greed and jealousy or putting the children's well being first.

I am not sure whether any of the former commenters live in the REAL world. Keith Sweat's status has nothing to do with what he decided was the best choice for the children. Mrs. Hartwell was not a good role model on the show. She was a backstabber and a gossip. Even though NeNe said things about Kim, why did she go back and tell it and then become hands off with the situation. If she was a true friend to either of them, she should have brought them together and helped squash it instead of adding fuel to an already intense situation. She was jealous of the Snows and envious of NeNe's outspoken manner. She threw plenty rocks, but always hid her hands. Back to the topic at hand, the show WAS showing materialistic ways and lifestyles for the most part. Yes, Mrs. Snow was the exception, but the rest were ego-blinded, ghetto, wannabees. I would not want my kids around their children. The children probably have egos and attitudes as big as the parents'. Well, I know Kim's daughter was a BRAT!!!!!!!

Lisa did throw a rock, and then she hid her hand. I haven't hear that one in a long time. Someone is imparting that old school logic, well stated. I'll go a little further, Lisa is two-faced. She's on her second famous husband, go figure. I read somewhere on line about bad business practices at her real esate office. Ne Ne is so big and bad she has to have Lisa sit on her to calm her down (reunion show) Lisa threatening to flip Kim over the couch, and what not. Martial artist or not, she will go to jail. I will not be purchasing any Wu Girls products, baby clothes, or anything else. I would like to see Lisa survive on her own merits, and status that goes with marrying a celebrity. I would like to see any of those women do that. Show me a woman in Atlanta that has her own ouse, money and businesses wothout benefit of a man paving the way. I know there are lots of women there in that town that fit that role. That's what I want to see.

LISA IS A GOLD-DIGGER AND A THIEF. SHE STOLE KEITH SWEATS MONEY AND HAD HIM ROBBED. THAT'S WHY HER CHILDREN WERE TAKEN FROM HER. THE JUDGE SAW HER TO BE AN UNFIT MOTHER. SHE WAS OUT AT ALL TIMES OF NIGHT AT CLUBS, LEAVING HER BOYS WITH FAMILY MEMBERS WHILE KEITH WAS OUT ON THE ROAD. SHE WAS SLEEPING AROUND WITH ANY AND EVERYBODY, EVEN ONE HIS HIS BAND MEMBERS. Why is it that everyone loves Deshawn so much? Because she knew her husband when he was broke? Ok I give that to her. But Deshawn stated that they used to not have money like that...if they didnt, why is it that she didnt know that all chickens dont come whole? Why is it that she doesnt know how to cook. You guys are in denile by saying that deshawn was the only sane one out of the group. She wanted Sheree to do something for her and couldnt even call her and ask...and then her reply was "clearly i dont opperate like that" well how do you operate then when you really dont even have a real job. what Shawn are you sooooo so so busy paying thousands of dollars for a gown that you plan on earing to some stupid benifit for really yourself that you cant "clearly operate like that"? Let's get real. All the girls on the show are materialistic, but that is what the show is about. I really like the show and it's the best of all the housewives shows. Nene is the real deal. We all have had an aunt, sister, daughter, or mother that has made it through to the top. She keeps it real and most all of us would love to hang with her. I don't think the new girl is a good fit. replace her next season.

Why do people think that they know these people just because they watch the show or read these blogs....in order to be a gold digger you have to be searcing for a man to pay your way...Lisa is a married woman! whenever you marry a man he's suppose to support you....some of the other women on these housewive shows dont work at all so who cares if these women are taken care of by their men? Lisa is a hard worker and she bring money to the table along with Ed. Im sure if you married a man you would expect him to help you out to...so eveyone need to mind their business! I commend Lisa and her hardwork and whatever the situation is with keith is their business.

I truly believe that all the ladies did marry for money as far as what the television is showing.
