Sandy "Pepa" Denton to Pen Her Autobiography

With the sucess of the Salt N Pepa reality show on VH1, Sandy "Pepa" Denton, one Half of the female rap group Salt N Pepa, has decided to release her own book. " Let’s Talk About Pep" her autobiography now set for release through VH1 Books.

"This is the real Pepa," Pepa stated. "And this is the memoir of a true pioneer, fighter, survivor, and inspiration to women everywhere."

The book will offer a candid look into Pepa’s life as a troubled teen who was the victim of child abuse, dealing with domestic violence in her adult years, her marriage and divorce to Naughty by Nature’s Treach, and her long career.

Pep also dishes on some of the intimate details of her professional career including the group's 2002 split and subsequent reunion, courtesy of reality TV.

"Let's Talk ABout Pep" ,with forward and epilogue handled by Missy Elliott and Queen Latifah respectively, is scheduled to hit book stores somtime next month.
