Nike Unveils Barack Obama Custom Air Force Ones

Shoe designer Van Taylor has created red, white and blue custom Air Force One sneakers in support of Barack Obama’s race for the White House. The Sneakers, priced at $500 per pair, feature the senator’s face along with inspiring campaign slogans “Yes We Can” and “Change.” Ten percent of proceeds from the sale of the shoes will benefit Obama’s campaign for president.

$500. I want these, but not for that much. That price makes it unaccessible to the masses. But, then again, maybe that's your point. That sucks.

    They're cute but I wouldn't rock 'em.

Obama appeals to the working class. I seriously doubt that he would approve the sale of a custom sneaker for $500! Most of his support base comes from middle-class folks. How would they be able to afford $500 for a pair of sneakers? Let's be more reasonable.
