Another Idol may Bite the Dust

Texas native Ashlyn Carr's emotional audition during Tuesday's American Idol episode was one of this season's first truly suspenseful moments.

After being told she wasn't quite ready to go to Hollywood, At the urging of Mr. cowell, Paula and Randy had a change of heart and decided to give Ms. Carr a second chance. This time she proved her worthiness and made it to Hollywood

But that was then, this is now. Today, Idol gossip sites and blogs are buzzing about the talented teenager -- but for a very different reason. Some late-night googling quickly directed curiosity seekers to this article in the Houstonian, Sam Houston State University's student newspaper.

Carr was arrested in November for allegedly putting sugar in an ex-boyfriend's gas tank. She was arrested on criminal mischief charges and booked into the Walker County Jail, according to the arrest report. This will make Ms carr, this seasons second contestant to be found to have criminal past.
